Day +9: Wabbit

Hi all.

Sorry for long delay in getting this morning's post out. Just didn't have the energy this morning.

Still running a high temperature - 38.8 and feeling crap as a result. Nothing dramatic, just a bit achy and unsettled. I'm on a fluid drip and have been since the early hours - blood pressure was creeping down. Seems to have sorted it out now.

Watched the marathon first thing - superb run by the Brit girl, Yamauchi who came second with a big PB. Brillliant.

Great quote on the BBC website from Katie Price - aka Jordon, who was running. She said "I don't think you can ever be preparred for the marathon.". Hm. perhaps carefully coordinated training over a suitable period of time in advance of the race might help. Stupid cow. Good luck to her - but stupid cow.

Watching F1 on the telly now. Not my thing, but one of my nurses is an addict and keeps comming in for updates, so I feel obliged to keep on top of it.

Well, Corri's just pitched up for afternoon visiting. Who-hoo!!
Later
