Looks like I've made it through day +4 relatively unscathed.
It didnae start great following an unpleaseant poo event at 6am and then a wee bit of puke before I'd managed breakfast.
Haven't had an actual temperature, but did feel a bit clammy and unsettled during the morning. After forcing in as much fluids as I could stomach, I started to feel relatively normal again and by this evening I'm not feeling too bad.
My mouth is, so-far, ulcer free - long may that last.
Bike in the room now, so I hope to add to my excercise regime. The bike, like lots of the other great wee comforts here, are provided by a local charity - Friends of Anchor. Their input into making life as bearable as possible during this particular phase of treatment is tremendous and greatly appreciated. We'll be making a point of raising some funds for them in the near future.
But all in, nothing much happened today, though. I got the stitches taken out of one of the Hickman line 'holes'.
Day +5 tomorrow. I almost cannae wait.
Good night folks.
