Hi All,
Another day toiled through - if lying in bed, doing mostly nothing, counts as toil.
I've been running a bit of a temperature for most of the day. Undoubtedly some infection or another. I don't feel fevery, just a bit flushed, but definately not as good as yesterday. Less energy aand a wee bit achy. Nothing dramatic though and this is all part of the thing. Nobody escapes without spiking a temperature at some point.
On lots of new antibiotics, so hopefully its bacterial and that knocks it on its head.
On the plus side - tomorrow is Day+9. Almost at the magic double figures, after which it's possible to 'graft'. My gut instinct says I'll see graft Day+11.
Any takers ? We can run a sweepstake.
Good night all.
Hi Bruv, it's your darling sisters. Get those clean jimmy jams looked out for Tuesday cause your getting a royal visit!!!! Just having a wee vino to prepare ourselves for tomorrows pampering session courtesy of you and Corri. Wee Jo's having those sex education talks at school, told her just to get in touch with you with any questions she might have. Try and have a good sleep. We'll phone you tomorrow after a couple of cocktails, night night xxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteJoe-lots of furtive activity down at William Hill Bookies tonight. Punters are scrambling at the odds of 5/2 on graft day 11. Lot of serious money being waged so I hope you don't let anyone down.
ReplyDeleteYou're right about the temperature. Nobody escapes having a bit of fever. That and the Spanish Inquistion are your only certainties in life.
Really pissed off that Alan McBeth mentioned the Ford Anglia story. I only told him that story cause he promised to let me kiss him and I'm still waiting.
Bit disappointed your doctors are using the Bristol stool chart to chart your 'poo progress'. There's actually a Glaswegian version(like the Glasgow Coma Scale) that does the same thing except the shites a lot harder. Might be the diet?
All the best and thinking of you.
Caitlin
PS apologies for ma dad-he can be quite embarressing
