Morning.
My post, naming dilema has been partly solved in that there is already a protocol for it here. The day of your transplant is labelled "Day 0", the days leading up to it are negative and the days after are just counted as Day 1, Day 2 etc.
So it's the morning of day -2. I'll call it M-day, as it's the day I get the Melphalan infusion.
I should probably call it "P-Day", as it's also the day I'll mostly be peeing non-stop. They pump you full with lots of fluids before and after the chemo, so lots of cardboard pee boxes should get filled today.
It's grey and muggy here in Aberdeen this morning. My mission for the day - apart from the Melphalan - is to identify and terminate the bloody seagull that spent all friggin night experimenting with the interesting sound effects it was able to produce by exploiting the superb acoustics residing in the bowels of Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Will update later, whilst being infused, perhaps.
