Day +12 : A feeling good morning.

Sleeping tablets - they're good things. Was wide awake till 2am having given up and asked for a sleeping tablet around 1. When it eventually hit, it seemed to do the trick big style and I slept right through. I'll get one earlier tonight.

Anyway, it's day +12. I'm bored, so that's a good sign, means I'm feeling ok.
Only fly in this morning's ointment is an unexplained swollen bit in the corner of my bottom left jaw, right at the hinge, They don't yet understand the cause, but don't thnk it significant..

Not had bloods yet - as usual seems to take a wee while.

  1. Hi Joe, glad things are going good, you're feeling well and the old counts are on the up! The daily wait for the counts coming through can seem like eternity, especially as the neuts approach the magical 0.5 :) I predict Saturday or Sunday for this BTW.....

Apart from the platelets (which are you not light on anyway?) you're whole progress through this is very similar to mine, including the "iffy" days! Must be a testament to the ARI haematology staff, or something to do with blogging through it LOL.

DON'T eat chicken salad rolls from the Sandwick Baking Company when you get out... I spent much of yesterday on or very near the pan producing number 6's and 7's! Things have firmed up today and I can fart with a bit of confidence again thankfully.

    Enjoy your day
